I purchased the Konjac sponge off amazon. The sponges came unwrapped is the box. Is that normal because I saw in the review that they were wrapped up in plastic. Also is it normal for it to have a smell and foamy once wet?

Thank you for reaching out to us!
We used to individually wrap our sponges. However, due to the burnt smell it was randomly causing to some of the sponges, we had to repackage them. The box that the konjac sponges came in should be wrapped up in plastic to avoid mold from growing.
The sponges do have a natural (slightly rubbery) smell and it’s normal for them to be a bit foamy when wet.
